In December 2004, the "Slam Dunk 100 Million Book Appreciation Commemoration Final Event" was held at the former Kanagawa Prefectural Misaki High School for three days only. This photobook contains 23 blackboard cartoons drawn at the event, "10 days after that". In the summer of the same year, the number of Slam Dunk books sold in Japan exceeded 100 million, and the series of activities began as an attempt by the author, Takehiko Inoue, to convey a message of "Thank you" to each and every one of his readers. The book includes many visuals from newspaper advertisements and websites leading up to the final event. This work has become legendary among fans because it was shown only for three days, and it had been eight years since the end of the series. In response to numerous requests, we are now presenting it in a large-format book style that can be enjoyed as a manga along with scenes from the exhibition.
